Valid from 1 June 2022:
The obligation to wear a mask will be waived for visits to the museum and participation in all events. Wearing a medical mask (FFP2 mask) is recommended everywhere, including at the seat, as is compliance with the usual minimum distance. Please note any changes at short notice.
Admission
Tickets are sold at the museum box office on site. Online reservation not possible. It is not necessary to reserve a time slot for your visit to the museum.

Participants up to 18 years of age have free admission.
Participation is included in the museum admission. Without registration. Seats subject to availability. The guided tours take place with a minimum of two participants, max. 15.
GROUPTOURS
Registration is generally required for groups: anmeldung@freies-deutsches-hochstift.de
Maximum 15 people per guided tour.
Groups of more than 15 people can book an introduction to the Goethe-Haus (about 20 minutes).
Deutsches Romantik-Museum
Individual guided tours for groups (maximum 9 people)
In 60 minutes you will gain insight into selected exhibition stations of the Deutsches Romantik-Museum.
Please send your request for guided tours by e-mail.
We ask for a lead time of at least 3 weeks. Please allow 2 days for us to respond to your request.
Accessibility
The entire new building with the Deutsches Romantik-Museum, the Goethe-Galerie and the temporary exhibition area is barrier-free accessible.
The historic Goethe-Haus can only be reached via stairs. It is not accessible for wheelchairs and prams.
